Cubic Global Tracking Solutions and arviem AG Form Strategic Partnership for Global Cargo Monitoring Services

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – January  27, 2014 –  Cubic Global Tracking Solutions , a subsidiary of  Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) announced today it has entered into a five year leasing agreement and strategic partnership with leading cargo monitoring service provider,  arviem  AG of Switzerland. Une start-up suisse spécialisée dans la logistique de transport lève 1,35 million de francs

Arviem, une start-up zougoise spécialisée dans les services de monitoring pour le transport cargo a bouclé un tour d’investissement d’1,35 million. Parmi les investisseurs, l’on retrouve Swisscom Venture et la ZKB. Pour poursuivre son développement, la start-up de Baar Arviem, spécialiste du monitoring de transport de marchandise en temps réel, a levé 1,35 million de francs suisses, annonce le site spécialisé  Startupticker.ch . Elle a fait appel à la plateforme d’investissement destinée aux start-up Investiere pour mener son tour. La moitié des fonds a été levée auprès de business angels privés issus de la communauté Investiere. L’autre est promise par Swisscom Ventures et la banque cantonale zurichoise. Mit der schweizerischen  arviem AG  ergänzt Hellmann sein Dienstleistungsportfolio um einen innovativen Service im Bereich Cargo-Monitoring. Gemeinsam werden die Partner ihren Kunden eine Lösung zur Echtzeitüberwachung von Frachtsendungen anbieten.   Die Lösung der arviem AG besteht aus dem Zusammenspiel der Hardware (Monitoring-Device) und der Software. Deutsche Telekom and arviem AG launch M2M partnership

March 21, 2013 Deutsche Telekom AG  today signed a nearly double-digit million euro contract with leading cargo monitoring service provider arviem AG of Switzerland. The partners will jointly offer their customers a real-time monitoring solution for freight consignments, the two companies announced. For Deutsche Telekom the partnership is an important building block for expanding its business in solutions based on machine-to-machine (M2M) communication. As part of the partnership Deutsche Telekom is providing both the hardware and the SIM cards. The software solution that evaluates the data collected comes from arviem. In the next step  Deutsche Telekom  will be offering a complete, single-source service, including the software.
